I was born in El Salvador during the ’60s. My father owned his own upholstery business, and I started off just being his helper. As the years went by, thanks to my diligence and good work habits, I was able to follow in my father's footsteps and become an upholsterer. After I learned the trade, I moved to Los Angeles and worked in a variety of upholstery businesses.
After some years of working with various upholsterers, I moved to New York in search of new skills. Once in New York, I was able to work in different businesses in diverse markets, from upholstering aircraft seats to marine boat covers.
